Welsh H Club | " The Welsh Hawking Club was founded in South Wales in 1962 by a handful of Welsh sportsmen under the guidance of a Hungarian falconer of international fame, Lorant de Basyai, who subsequently became the club's first president. The Welsh Hawking Club was invited to attend the international field meetings of the Osterreichischer Falknerbund (Austria) and the Deutscher Falkenorden (Germany). As the club became internationally known, more invitations soon followed. Members often returned with Goshawks on their fists, gifts from new friends made at the meetings. The Welsh Hawking Club is now the second largest club in the United Kingdom, with a membership in excess of 350, and holds monthly meetings in: South Wales North Wales Bath Exeter Essex Yorkshire At these meetings there is usually a speaker on a variety of sporting topics. "

British F Club | | " The British Falconers Club was founded in 1927, by the surviving members of the Old Hawking Club. The Club currently has around 1000 members and is the oldest and by far the largest falconers' club in Great Britain. The Club is a founder member of the, The British Field Sports Society (BFSS), now encompassed in the Home buildside Alliance, The International Association for Falconry and the Conservation of Birds of Prey (IAF), The Campaign for Falconry, The Federation of Home build Sportsmen of the EEC (FACE), and the Standing Conference on Home buildside Sports (SCCS) It works closely with these organisations to try and ensure that laws and regulations in the EEC or Britain do not adverseley affect falconry - a demanding and time consuming activity that receives little recognition. "
