Republic of tea | Imperial Republic White Tea : " Once reserved for the cups of emperors and nobility, this magnificent high mountain China White Tea still remains one of the rarest of all teas. The tender white downy buds are painstakingly hand-plucked, only two days of the year, right before the leaf opens. So small is the yield, so high is the demand, that it is one of the world's most expensive teas. We have procured this season's harvest to take advantage of a new manufacturing technique allowing us to offer White Tea in our signature round, unbleached tea bags. We are honored to offer you this pure, delicate brew. You are sure to delight in its subtle, sweet, lingering finish. Indulge in the ultimate cup that is White Tea. White Tea is the most minimally processed of all tea varietals. Modern research shows that White Tea retains the highest level of disease preventative antioxidants known as polyphenols. Discover tea in its most natural state...here's to your health."

Japanese Green Tea | Japanese Green Tea : " Our tea's are shipped to us from Japan on a regular basis to ensure freshness. They are processed as follows: Freshly harvested leaves (known as "Ara-cha") are packed in 30kg units for "saves". They have yet to be processed at this stage. The bags containing the fresh leaves are filled with nitrogen gas, and kept refrigerated. This is best way to keep them for the long term.(...) The tea is then processed into what is known as "Shiage-cha", its final product. The teas are then packed into their individual mylar teabags and are sealed with nitrogen gas. These bags are then taken back to the refrigerator until shipment to O-Cha.com, where they will reach the end consumer shortly there after. The teas don't sit around on the shelves for extended periods of time at O-Cha.com! We make smaller, but more frequent orders, ensuring you the freshest tea possible." more
