Bank of Russia | | The Central Bank of the Russian Federation The status, purposes, functions, powers and principles of organisation and work of the Bank of Russia as a public and legal institution are legislatively determined by the Constitution of the Russian Federation, the Federal Law on the Central Bank of the Russian Federation (Bank of Russia) and other federal laws. In accordance with the Constitution, the main task of the Bank of Russia is to protect and ensure the stability of the rouble. In accordance with Article 3 of the Federal Law on the Cental Bank, the main objectives of the Bank of Russia are to strengthen the purchasing power and exchange rate of the rouble against other currencies, promote the development and enhancement of the Russian banking system and ensure the efficient and uninterrupted functioning of the settlements system.

National Bank of Ukraine | | | " The National Bank of Ukraine is a legal entity with separated property, which is the object of the state property. National Bank of Georgia | | " 1. The National Bank of Georgia (hereinafter "the National Bank") is the central bank of Georgia, the bank of all banks, and the banker and fiscal agent of the Georgian Government. The National Bank, in its activities, shall be directed by the Constitution of Georgia, by this Law, by other applicable legislation of Georgia and by the rules and customs of international banking practice. The National Bank is entitled to independently enter into agreements, to acquire, to hold and to manage movable and immovable property, to be a plaintiff and defendant and to independently exercise its monetary and supervisory functions. 2. National Bank of Belarus | The National Bank of the Republic of Belarus " In the aftermath of the October Revolution (1917) affiliates of the private banks in Belarus were nationalized, while the land banks were closed. On December 3, 1921, the Soviet of People's Commissars - SPC (Government) of the Belarusian Soviet Socialist Republic decreed that a Belarusian Office of the State Bank should be opened in Minsk. A month later, on January 3, 1922, the Office became operational. That was the day on which the Belarusian banking system originated and began developing. Later, local branches in Vitebsk, Borisov, Bobruisk, Moguilev as well as agencies in Slutsk, Mozyr, Orsha, Klimovichi, and Polotsk were opened. Following the creation of the USSR, the State Bank (Gosbank) of the RSFSR (Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic) was transformed into the State Bank of the USSR. The Belarusian Office was incorporated therein. In January 1927, the Gomel branch, formerly under the direct control of the State Bank of the USSR, was reassigned to the Belarusian Office." ... more
